dog on a surf board
lets think about that
for the time being
One place Charlie can roam free off a lead without any mishaps is Merricks Beach on Westernport Bay. Lots of time and space for a dog to take in the scenery, think about life and generally enjoy being a dog without restrictions.
Beautiful !
My son had an Afghan who used to accompany him on on a wind-surf board. He was quite an attraction on the beach !

That would have been a sight, an Afghan on a board, do you have any pictures? Who dried the dog when they left the beach? It sounds like your family are quite connected with the breed Rosie. We have had one or two Afghans since 1976, the house is not the same without one.

This is a lovely image for Summer. I wonder what was going on in the dogs head!

As I write in the haiku I think she was probably wondering if she could do that. Charlie was that kind of dog, anything was possible. This was taken just over a year before she died.
