sky theatre
repeat performance
will dazzle
Three different winter evenings looking out from the Sandringham cliffs over to Point Cook across Port Phillip Bay. As usual the sun repeats a dazzling performance usually with a surprise twist of colour . We are nearly half way through Winter with the first Wattles beginning to bloom and early reports of Magpies nesting are being shared. Spring is coming.
This is my shared contribution to RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge 104 Dazzle & Sky, go to https://ronovanwrites.wordpress.com/2016/07/04/ronovanwrites-weekly-haiku-poetry-prompt-challenge-104-dazzlesky/ and be hypnotised by haiku from poets from around the world. Also this post contributes to the 52 week PHOTO CHALLENGE, with REPEAT challenging a talented group of photographers from across the globe. As always your photographs are beautiful. Those three colour-ways are mesmerising. Isn’t nature wonderful! and you manage to catch it in all its glory. What a perfect way to combine the challenges. Sky theatre indeed! Encore!

Thanks Sandra. We only have to walk 10 minutes to experience the sunset over the bay, very lucky! I worked my brain this week and captured both challenges in the haiku finally!!

Beautiful haiku — I agree sunsets call for encores…and you smoothly incorporated repeat: I’m impressed 🙂

Thanks Pat. I just have to walk down the street and over to the cliffs, then the camera and elements take over.
