Maggie’s muddle includes these objects plus many others. For a pup she has more possessions than any dog we know. This pictured group include Chicken Joe who Charlie brought home one day and treasured, a glove Maggie found on a footpath and insisted on keeping as well as the cricket ball, (another of Charlie’s finds) that is of particular enjoyment to Maggie. She carries it onto our wooden veranda and drops it making a loud thud then repeats the action again and again. Regardless of these toys she still prowls the house looking for things to steal and chew.
This is my contribution to the one a week Photo Challenge and this week for number 42 the challenge is MUDDLE . For this years 52 weekly challenges planned by Cathy and Sandra visit Cathy’s blog at https://nanacathydotcom.wordpress.com/one-a-week-photo-challenge-2017/
Thta’s not a muddle that is a treasure hoard!! I love the way dogs acquire possessions. I ha a dog whose basket was always good for finding a few pennies.

Your haiku captures Maggie’s conundrum very well Denis! Does she enjoy playing with tug-rope toys? Pearl loves those and often falls asleep on top of it after a play session 😉

Thanks Xenia. She plays tug with a rope toy, shoes, anything she can steal and my arms. Early days yet.

She looks pretty cool in public and on camera, on the loose at times she gets worked up.

Puppies can find the oddest things to become attached to.

They sure can Lisa, socks are Maggie’s big thing but she is not allowed to own any from our cupboards or chairs, hence the street pickups.

I was dog sitting with a friend once and you had to keep all possessions tightly shut away – that dog (not a puppy!) destroyed my friend’s glasses and slippers as she had left her bedroom door open.

That was one naughty dog. So far all our Afghans stopped that at about 1.5 years give or take a few months. We hope and correct.
