Xanthorrhoea (Grass Tree)
White and yellow colours also dominated the range of flowering native plants in the gardens we visited as well as in Gariwerd/Grampians National park when Jill and I recently visited.
A lovely haiku and beautiful photographs, so nice to see at this time of year ☺

Thanks Vashti. There were bees everywhere, they are another wonderful aspect of blossom time. We have many varieties of native bees as well as the introduced European honey bee. Even in our home garden with flowering going on there are so many different native bees and flies pollinating the plants.

There is that relationship in nature. Well captured in your haiku Denis.

We do live in contrasting landscapes Melissa. There is something haunting and ancient about the images of the Aran islands.
